Delegate Programme on Circular Construction

Frankfurt am Main and Karlsruhe, 05 – 12 October 2025

Construction waste is an increasing issue in many fast-growing markets. New technologies help companies collect, sort and recycle construction waste, creating new value chains and businesses models. To bring together industry experts from emerging markets, UNIDO ITPO Germany is organizing a Delegate Programme on Circular Construction in October 2025.

Expected outcomes:

Participants will learn about innovative technologies and value chains that are suited for their markets. They will hold meetings with corporate partners from Germany’s leading engineering companies, explore financing options, discuss innovative business models and attend live demonstrations of cutting edge equipment. The composition of the delegation will also allow for peer exchanges across different regions and for new horizontal and vertical cooperation. 

Selection criteria:

Open for companies from Africa, the Middle East and India that meet the following criteria:

  • Larger and medium-sized companies active in the target sectors (see below) 
  • Companies with concrete investment and expansion plans
  • Companies seeking new partnership opportunities, and innovative technologies
  • Companies with focus on job-creation and resource and energy efficient production methods

UNIDO ITPO Germany encourages female-led and -owned companies to apply!

Sector focus:

  1. Treatment of construction waste (target group: recycling companies)
  2. Production of construction material from recycled construction waste (target group: producers of construction material)
  3. Construction of buildings using recycled construction material (target group: builders, contractors, project developers, civil engineering firms

Cost coverage and support by UNIDO ITPO Germany:

UNIDO ITPO Germany will issue visa support letters, cover the costs for local transport from 7-10 October, entry tickets for the trade fair, coordination of meetings and site visits as well as B2B events and networking events. 

All other costs and logistical arrangements (flight, airport transfers, accommodation, food etc.) need to be covered by participating companies.
